AS NEA: Adverts

Advert Progress Before the closure of schools due to the coronavirus outbreak, I managed to finish both of my adverts as well as gain feedback from my teacher on how to improve them.  From the feedback, I added colour correction throughout the advert, first I increased saturation to improve consistency and brighten up some of the clips. This is because the clips were taken from many different venues where some were darker than others. Next I adjusted colour correction in the second advert to add more blues and give an impression of sadness, this helps portray the main characters disappointment as he learns he is injured which could affect his chance of getting drafted.  Overall I think both of my adverts turned out how I wanted them too and I think I used my use of editing skills and effects to create a good flow to both adverts. I am also happy with how I  portrayed the main character as I think the talking heads from him and his 'coach' showed him as highly skilled

Cereal advert

Cereal advert The task was to create a tv advert for a health related cereal brand to appeal to a health conscious consumer. I used a range of camera shots and angles ranging from extreme close ups to long shots in different environments. I used my skills from camera shots to direct where the camera should be and what movement should be made.  I also utilised sound as the advert contains a soundtrack as well as a voice over and sound affects. The advert was also made to suit the target audience with a tagline to go with it 'A break bar for ballers'.
